Cobbetts’ London office has advised BNB Recruitment Solutions PLC on the sale of three subsidiaries trading under the "Norman Broadbent" brand to AIM-listed Garner PLC, for an aggregate consideration of £5.5 million.

Norman Broadbent consists of three businesses: BNB Consultancy Limited, Bancomm Limited and BNB Recruitment Overseas Holdings Limited.  The group specialises in executive search and the provision of consultancy services in assessment, training and development of staff and diversity management.

Cobbetts’ team was led by Simon Jones, assisted by Stephanie Brigg, with specialist input from the Birmingham-based pensions team.

Simon Jones said: “Over recent months, there has been increasing consolidation in the recruitment industry.  Cobbetts’ London office has been busy working with a number of clients in this sector, on both the buy and sell sides, in the UK and overseas.”
 
This deal follows Cobbetts’ work with GW Professional UK Limited on the acquisition of Olivier Group Pty. Ltd., based in Australia, as well as a series of international acquisitions for a Polish recruitment company.
