Cobbetts’ Manchester corporate team has advised AIM-listed IDOX Group plc, a leading supplier of software and services to the UK public sector, on its £3.3m acquisition of Grantfinder Limited.

Nottinghamshire-based Grantfinder, which had revenues of £1.6m for the year ended 30 September 2009, provides value-added databases of government and EU funding information via easily accessible websites to UK public and private sector customers.

IDOX is a supplier of software solutions and services, principally to the UK public sector, and the leading applications provider to local government for core functions relating to land, people and property through its UNI-form, Plantech and IDOX product ranges. Over 75 per cent of UK local authorities are IDOX customers.
