Law firm Cobbetts LLP has teamed up with Birmingham Science Park Aston (BSPA) to launch CAPPitalise – an exciting new initiative for the region's technology entrepreneurs.
CAPPitalise will support technology entrepreneurs by providing first-class business and legal advice. For start-up companies looking for venture capitalist investment, CAPPitalise will also offer the opportunity to be introduced to potential investors.
Adrian Cutler, Partner at Cobbetts LLP, said: “CAPPitalise has been set up to work with talented technology entrepreneurs within the Midlands to provide the advice and tools they need to achieve growth in what is still an extremely tough environment.
“Working in partnership with Birmingham Science Park Aston, we will have the opportunity to make a real difference to technology start-ups in the region, and I’m confident that we will see some real success stories emerging over the next twelve months as a result.”
Simon Jenner, Head of Incubation at BSPA said: “BSPA, and in particular its Entrepreneurs for the Future and Oxygen Accelerator programmes for tech startups, are delighted to be working with Cobbetts on this new support initiative.
“We see that there is support available from the professional services, but so often it is not tailored to the particular needs of early-stage technology companies. CAPPitalise will help fill this gap, and push the development of the growing tech scene in Birmingham”
The first of the quarterly events is due to take place on 1 December, at which CAPPitalise will be formally launched. Click here for more infomation...
