Jonathan is a partner and heads up the firm's EC Competition team. He specialises in EC and UK Competition Law including merger control, contentious and non-contentious behavioural matters and State aid, public procurement, WTO and international trade and customs law. Jonathan is very experienced in working for national and international corporates and has also developed a strong reputation in advising UK public sector authorities.
Jonathan has been described as the "the best state aid lawyer in the country" by the 2012 edition of Chambers and Partners UK Guide to the Legal Profession.
Jonathan has spent a number of years working in Brussels and has appeared before EC and national regulators on many occasions.
