| Ibrahim is a founding partner and heads the aviation, energy and tourism, and entertainment departments. Ibrahim started his career at Denton Wilde Sapte in 2000 and has since worked as legal counsel for BG Egypt, head of legal at PICO International Petroleum and partner at El Said, Darwish and Partners. He holds a Master of Laws degree in commercial and corporate law from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association. Ibrahim is fluent in Arabic, English and German.
As head of PICO International Petroleum legal department, he was responsible for managing all legal aspects of the company’s petroleum exploration and production operations including corporate and banking matters.
His role as legal counsel for BG Egypt involved acting on a variety of projects ranging from negotiating and drafting concession agreements, gas sales agreements and LNG sales agreements to corporate governance and employment matters.
At Denton Wilde Sapte Ibrahim was a member of teams advising on all aspects of investing and doing business in Egypt, including energy, aviation, commercial, corporate, intellectual property, banking, infrastructure, construction, real property, tourism and labour law as well as international commercial arbitration.
