Simon Ledbrooke

Consultant

Simon is a consultant for our corporate team having previously been a partner at the firm.  He has been involved in international work in various countries including Russia, Netherlands, Brazil, Canada and the United States.  Simon advised on the purchase of Mnogovershinnnoe Mine by Highland Gold Mining Limited and acted for the company on its subsequent £210m admission to AIM. 

He has also dealt with the private placing of $110m and funding of $80m for that company and the increase by Barrick Gold Corporation of its shareholding in the company to 34%.  In addition he acted for Highland when Millhouse LLC acquired a 40% shareholding in the company in a transaction worth £200m. 

He has extensive experience in listing companies on the Alternative Investment Market including joint ventures in Russia, China and Africa.   Simon has also operated in the football arena having being involved in the first Bosman post transfer of Mario Bortolazzi to West Bromwich Albion and the signing of Alen Boksic  and Massimo Macaroni by Middlesbrough.  He also acts for Nemanja Vidic of Manchester United and Gianluigi Buffon the Italian international goalkeeper.
