| Paul is a director in the litigation group and leads the regulatory team. He has extensive experience and expertise on regulatory criminal defence matters including health and safety, corporate manslaughter, consumer trading law, food hygiene and safety, environmental, road traffic and other areas of 'white collar crime' including money laundering, insolvency offences, bribery & corruption.
Paul's expertise covers the whole range of corporate defence. He provides advice and representation on issues such as dealing with regulatory inspections, negotiating with the regulators, complying with and appealing enforcement notices, restrictions on business activities, interviews under caution, defending prosecutions, preparation for and representation at court hearings including coroners inquests and regulatory tribunals.
Paul also provides regulatory compliance advice, risk management support, implementation, review and audit of policy and procedures, crisis management and incident response, training and coaching.
Paul has advised national and international clients across a range of industry sectors including retail, healthcare, construction, manufacturing, warehousing, energy, waste, transport, chemicals, and food.
