Ashley Norman

Ashley is the national head of the employment team.  He deals with all types of advice both contentious and non-contentious across a range of sectors.  He has particular expertise in the field of equality & diversity, having acted on a number of major discrimination cases and advised clients on various equality policy matters including age discrimination compliance. 

Ashley has worked extensively in the financial services, manufacturing and retail sectors and is hugely experienced in the public sector.  He has acted for a number of central government organisations, as well as local authorities and housing associations.  He is familiar with the nuances applying to certain types of public sector employment law including chief officer disciplinary procedures and Schedule 1 issues.

In addition, Ashley is well known for advising on executive terminations, TUPE, collective redundancies, industrial relations law and has delivered many HR training workshops to clients.
