Jailan Shindy

Jailan is a founding partner and heads the training department. She has joined Cobbetts International Cairo as managing partner of Shindy & Associates Inc., the first Egyptian multi-disciplinary consulting firm in business, finance and law.

Jailan started her career in 1987 as an analyst in the credit department at Chase National Bank, Egypt.  She holds a Masters degree in economics from the American University in Cairo and has successfully completed the Chase credit course.  She is specialized in the areas of valuation, business development, financial restructuring and credit risk evaluation.  In the last few years, she has been renowned for offering specialized credit and finance training programs to various public and private financial institutions and investment companies.

As a general member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, she has participated in the Door Knock mission to the USA in year 2009 and currently chairs the Women in Business Committee.  Jailan is fluent in Arabic and English.
