Mergers and other joint working arrangements

The Charity Commission have stated that they believe that all charities should consider "seriously and imaginatively whether there are ways in which they could do more and better for their users by working together."

Examples of areas where joint working could be beneficial include joint fundraising initiatives or combined grant administration.

We provide charities with practical advice on the structuring and implementation of mergers and other joint working arrangements, including how best to address any risks involved.

Recent matters include advising the trustees of a Community Association on a possible link-up with a local church in the context of the proposed redevelopment of the community centre.
