One of the problems within large organisations is identifying potentially valuable IP rights, and knowing what to do to maximise their revenue-earning potential. Our IP team has undertaken several IP Rights management audits for a range of companies and public bodies. This has resulted in improved capture and exploitation of IP for our clients and in at least one case, a much more straightforward business sale agreement. The IP team can also assist clients in the creation and implementation of effective IP policies and programmes.

As well as conducting tailor-made IP audits, the team has presented a number of seminars to clients on IP and related issues, designed to raise awareness and provide a forum for clients to seek general advice from the IP team.

These vary from a basic overview of IP through to more specialist seminars aimed at particular industries, such as the bio and pharmaceutical sector.
