However, if one is the victim of large scale counterfeiting, or employee misuse of confidential information (usually on behalf of competing businesses) they may be the only way to prevent vital evidence of wrong-doing vanishing without trace. However, these expensive and difficult orders need to be obtained and executed with expertise, tact and sensitivity to avoid problems.

The team recently cleaned up when it seized 30 tonnes of illegally imported soap from a defendant’s warehouse. The team then went on to win indemnity costs and summary judgment for the clients – a major brand & household name.
