Demise of the RDAs

RDAs are expected to cease by March 2012 and are already winding down their activities. It is possible there may be some residual activity to be managed out beyond that date.

RDAs have current commitments of £1.2 billion worth of projects and programmes and approximately £500 million worth of land assets (many of these balanced by liabilities). The RDAs substantial forward commitments reflect the long term nature of their activities involving land property equity investment and regeneration activities spanning many years and in some cases decades.
