Article

Employers should check the use of fixed term contracts in their business. Identify which of their employees are currently engaged under fixed-term contracts and consider whether there is any logical reason for retaining their fixed-term status (particularly in the case of employees with more than one year’s continuous service). Employers should then review the terms of their fixed-term contracts, to determine whether any amendments will be necessary in the light of the incoming Regulations.
